The Anti-Acne Plan is Skinstitute's structured program for treating acne and acne scars under the personal care of Dr. Charlene Palafox, PDS Board-Certified Dermatologist. It combines our Clarify+ in-clinic treatments, prescription dermatology, and a maintenance plan tailored to your skin type and acne grade.
Which Clarify+ treatment is right for me?+
It depends on the type and severity of your acne. Mild congestion typically responds to Clarify+ Facial or Clarify+ Renew, pigmented post-acne marks benefit from Clarify+ Crystal or Reset, and deep cystic acne usually requires Clarify+ Focus RF. Dr. Palafox will recommend the right protocol during consultation.
How long until I see clearer skin?+
Most patients see noticeable reduction in active breakouts after 2 to 4 weekly sessions. Hyperpigmentation and scarring take longer — usually 8 to 12 weeks of combined in-clinic and home care.
Do you also treat acne scars?+
Yes. We offer a dedicated For Acne Scars menu including SkinDuo Reform (Er:Glass + RF Microneedling), ScarCROSS for ice-pick scars, RevitaSmooth (Rejuran S), and our premium ScarRenew and ScarCorrect protocols that combine subcision, lasers, and biostimulators.
ACNE SCAR TREATMENTS AND PRICESIs the program safe for sensitive or pregnant patients?+
We adjust every plan based on your skin barrier, medical history, and life stage. Some lasers and topical actives are not used during pregnancy — Dr. Palafox will design a safe alternative protocol if needed.
Do you prescribe oral medication?+
When clinically indicated, yes. As a PDS Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Palafox can prescribe oral and topical prescription treatments alongside your in-clinic plan for a complete approach.
